In almost every aspect this Omega is the same as the Genève model. It's in excellent condition with a gold plated case (20 microns) and a stainless steel case-back.
The watch was manufactured in 1979 so is about 45 years old. The dial has a vertical brushed finish, is unmarked and has not faded. The applied hour batons are gold with a black stripe atop and all the original dots of lume remain intact at the bottom of eachof them. The quarter batons never had the lume. Matching stick hands with a sweep seconds hand. The applied Omega logo is gold. Beneath it is written Omega and Automatic in black with Swiss Made appearing at the bottom. Quick-set date at 3. Pull the crown out one stop and rotate it either way to adjust the date. The acrylic is original Omega with the logo etched in the centre. There are a few marks but nothing that is obvious. The crown is a generic replacement.
The case is 20 micron gold plated with very few signs of rub through. There are micro scratches but nothing significant. The case-back is fully marked Omega on the inside.
The watch is powered by the Omega calibre 1010. It's an automatic so draws its energy from the movement of the arm when worn. The energy is captured by a rotor that when winds the watch.
The watch is fitted with a gold-plated bracelet with the original Omega clasp. It will fit a wrist up to about 19cm.
