Once you have chosen your purchase, simply click "Add to Cart". Either continue to "View Cart" as instructed below "Secure Ordering & Payment Options" or continue shopping. You can access your cart at any time by clicking the "bag" button located at the extreme right of the menu bar.

Secure Ordering & Payment Options

After adding your selected watch to the cart, the cart slide window will automatically open. Click "view cart" at the bottom of this window and your checkout page will fully open. To pay by debit or credit card, "Checkout" with Paypal. To pay by direct bank transfer or cheque, click the green "Checkout" button and you will then be given information to facilitate this. We can accept cash payments up to a maximum of £5,000 (limited due to money laundering regulations) so contact us for further instructions either by email using details from the "Contact" page.

Shipping, UK

We endeavor to ship within two working days after payment or, if by cheque, once the cheque has cleared. All watches, pocket watches and other orders costing over £75 are sent fully insured by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders totaling less than £75 are sent either by Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class or by Hermes courier which is tracked.

Shipping, Rest of the World

All orders from outside the UK are subject to shipping rates as seen at checkout. In addition to the price you pay for the item (plus shipping) there may be local taxes to pay such as import duties or other taxes. You need to investigate these before making the purchase as they are YOUR responsibility. Also, we do not ship to all countries of the world. Our standard charges are listed below but it's best to contact us (use the contact page) before you place the order as there can be exceptions. These rates are for shipping worldwide so shipping within most of Europe will probably be cheaper. Do contact us for the revised cost.

Orders up to £100 (shipping charge £15)

Orders £100.01 to £500.00 (shipping charge £30)

Orders £500.01 to £1,000 (shipping charge £40)

Orders £1,000.01 to £2,500 (shipping charge £50.00)

Above £2,500.01 (shipping charge £60.00)

Returns & Refunds

If, once you have received your order, you are not satisfied in any way, you may cancel your purchase. You must notify us within seven working days from receipt of the product. The item/s must be returned to us in its original condition and packaging, together with any associated paperwork. Once received, we will undertake a detailed inspection to ensure all is in order and that the product is in the same condition as when dispatched. Any change in condition may result in a charge for refurbishment/repair necessary to restore to the watch.

Notification for returns must be via email to info@omegavintagewatches.co.uk. We regret that there will be no reimbursement for shipping costs, which must have the appropriate level of insurance cover, and will be at the returner’s expense.

All orders placed are subject to acceptance by us by delivery of the goods to you at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between us. The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Guarantee

Many of our watches come with a 6 months parts and labour guarantee. Please note however, that the guarantee will be invalidated should the timepiece have been mistreated or tampered with.

These watches are precision instruments and need to be treated with respect. Whilst generally robust (some were manufactured before shock absorption was introduced), avoid wearing them where it is likely they will be put at risk of knocks etc such as working out at the gym or playing sports.

Some of the watches may have originally been water resistant – due to their age we cannot guarantee this remains the case and the watch must be removed when bathing/swimming etc. The guarantee will be invalidated should the watch be damaged through water penetration.

Vintage mechanical watches will never attain the same degree of accuracy as modern quartz watches. Moderate your expectations even if you have purchased a vintage mechanical chronometer!
