This is a beautiful 1974 Omega Genève in excellent condition.
This particular model of the Genève is one of the most attractive in the Genève model history. It moved away from the "beefy" lugs of the earlier Seamasters to a much more elegant design that visually prioritised the dial over the case and bezel, and as such gives the watch great wrist presence.
The silver dial features contrasting black-painted numbers with complementary black steel hands. Silver sweep seconds hand. When the watch is running, the quick-set date at 3 changes automatically at midnight. To adjust independently, pull out the crown one stop and rotate it until you find the correct date. Pull it out two stops to change the time. Original crown with the Omega logo. Printed in black is the Omega logo, Omega, Automatic, Genève and Swiss Made.
The stainless steel case and screw fit case-back are in fine condition with no signs of abuse, just a few minor scratches. The inside of the case-back is fully marked Omega together with the model number.
The watch is run by the automatic Omega in-house manufactured 1012 calibre. In great condition and running as expected.
Fitted to the watch is a non-Omega bracelet (an Alpha 1993) in good condition and will fit a large wrist.
