Here we have a stunning 9k solid gold Omega Geneve with a 9k gold bracelet. A beautiful watch in exceptionally good condition that has experienced very little wrist time and has been well cared for.

The dial is virtually as new and has a textured linen finish running vertically. The gold hands have luminous inserts in the tips although they are no longer luminesce. Sweep seconds hand. Applied golden hour batons. Applied Omega logo. Printed in black are Omega, Automatic, Geneve and Swiss Made. Quick-set date at 3. The date changes automatically when the watch is running. When it needs adjusting pull the crown out to the second position. Push it back into the first position and the date will advance one day. Cycle through this to advance more than one day. The crown is original and has the Omega logo. The acrylic is also original and has the Omega logo etched in the centre.

The 9k gold case has a monocoque design and this reduces the potential of ingress of pollutants that might degrade the inside. There is no independent case back. Instead, access to inside the watch is through the removal of the gold bezel. There are no significant marks on the case and anything that is visible such as minor scratches could easily be polished out.

The 9k gold bracelet has a beautiful Milanese design and fully integrates with the watch curves in a very stylish fashion. It has the Omega logo on the clasp and on the underside is fully hallmarked in Birmingham for 9k gold (.375). Manufactured in Birmingham by William H Willmot Ltd in 1973/4.

The bracelet should fit a wrist up to about 185mm (7 inches) with adjustment on the clasp to reduce this by a little (3mm). Further reduction could be carried out by a goldsmith jeweler however it can not be made larger.
