Gold is always a favourite, not just for its intrinsic value but for its appearance. With virtually no effort the watch can look like new and if there are any knocks they can usually be repaired. Always a great investment and especially so in times of crisis!

This Seamaster is a distinctively 60s variant of the Seamaster with its rectangular hour batons and slender lugs. The dial has a vertical brushed finish and has some slight discolouration. The hour batons, just like its big brother the Constellation, have black onyx inserts. Gold Dauphine hands with matching black inserts. Sweep seconds hand. Applied Omega logo and signed Omega, Automatic, Seamaster and Swiss Made in black. Genuine Omega crystal with the logo etched in the centre. The crown is genuine Omega but may not be the original.

The solid gold bezel is the very rare design that is chamfered on the underside. The case is virtually unmarked. The case-back has the Seamonster in the centre which is still very detailed and defined - always a good indication that the watch has had little wrist time. The case was made by the highly acclaimed English case-maker Dennison and is fully hallmarked. It is also signed Omega.

Inside is the Omega calibre 552. As you can see from the pictures the movement is in great condition and runs extremely well, keeping good time.

The watch comes with a new genuine leather strap (non-Omega) and an Omega signed buckle.
