The 1960s saw the introduction of the De Ville range which had a new elegant design and a monocoque case. The Seamaster De Ville was introduced in 1963 and this married features of the Seamaster with the De Ville range.
The watch for sale is in good overall condition. The vertically brushed silver dial has achieved a nice patina. Gold coloured stick hands and sweep seconds hand. Applied gold hour batons and a black printed fine crosshair. Applied Omega logo with Omega, Seamaster, De Ville and Swiss Made all printed in black.
The stainless steel case has only slight marks with no evidence of abuse. The movement is accessed from the front and the absence of a removable case-back reduces the chance of water or dust ingress. The Seamaster sea monster is on the reverse. Inside is the Omega 613 calibre manual wind movement.
The watch comes with a new Omega-marked strap and buckle however I believe these are not genuine.
