Not everyone celebrates patina! If that is you and you prefer your watch to look almost the same as the day it was made then consider this 1959 classic Seamaster in original condition.
 
This is a gold-capped automatic with a stainless steel back. The gold has few signs of wear; just a few knicks and definitely no rub through. It has the desirable beefy lugs and a significant bezel that gives it a robust appearance. The stainless steel back has the sea monster in the centre and is marked waterproof* on the chamfer. Both are still sharply defined showing the watch has had little wrist time.
 
The dial is superb with its gorgeous linen finish. It is totally unmarked, in the same condition as the Dauphine hands and the applied hour batons. There's a sweep seconds hand and both the hour and minute hands have white inserts. The Omega logo is applied in gold whilst the words Omega, Automatic, Seamaster and Swiss are all printed in black. The crown is original Seamaster and the acrylic is a genuine Omega replacement.
 
Inside the case back it is fully marked Omega. The watch is run by the Omega calibre 501 movement. which has been fully serviced.
 
The watch is fitted with a new brown leather non-Omega leather strap.
 
* Note that whist is says it's waterproof, it isn't. So keep well clear of any moisture or water.
