This watch is just stunning and, more than most, looks better in reality than in the pictures!
 
Most Seamasters of the 1950s boasted the classic beefy lugs. A very small proportion was built with semi-hooded lugs or with full hoods. This beauty has a gold-capped case and a superb golden dial. The case is in excellent condition and sets off the patina on the dial superbly. Applied chamfered baguette hour batons. Dauphine hands and matching sweep seconds hand. Seamaster crown. New acrylic. Signed Omega, Seamaster, Automatic and just visible at the bottom of the dial radius, Swiss Made. The screw-fit case-back is marked Seamaster and Waterproof. Note that today it's best to keep the watch away from any source of water!
 
The watch has the Omega made 500 calibre inside and has just been fully serviced by a highly respected watchmaker. 
 
Comes fitted with a new (non Omega) brown leather strap.
