At first glance you would think this was a 1930s pocket watch but the elegant art deco design of that period was a popular evolution from the previous rather bulbous cases so ran for years! But it's 1956!

The dial has aged nicely to a light Ivory colour. Arabic numbers are printed at 2, 4, 8, 10, 12 and are interspersed with applies polished steel dots. Matching Omega applied logo. Signed Omega and Swiss Made in black. Small seconds at 6 in a sunken sub-dial with a circular Guilloche finish with some deterioration to the surface paint finish. matching steel hands. The acrylic has been polished so only a few light scratches remain.

Attractive slim stainless steel case in very good condition. No dints, only micro scratches. Original crown. Winds well. The snap fit case back is in similar condition. Inside the case back it is signed Omega as is the Omega 161 calibre movement which is in exceptionally good condition.

A nice minimalist piece in overall good condition that should give many years of service.
