Beautiful gold watch from the 1950s with the opportunity to keep it as it is and enjoy its age or to refurbish! The gold numbers and batons are riveted on so could be polished back to their original finish.

Attractive gold coloured dial that has aged evenly. Matching gold hands with black inserts. Small seconds sunken sub-dial with Guilloche finish at 6. Unsigned crown which is probably a replacement.

The 9k gold case and case-back have blemishes most of which could be polished out. As always with gold the presentation is superb. Inside the case-back, it is fully hallmarked for gold and Omega. The case was manufactured by the British case maker Dennison who had the reputation of being one of the best.

The movement inside is in excellent condition. The Omega calibre 266 was a derivative of the 30T2, a series of movements that played a big part in the Omega success story for 25 years.

Comes with a used black leather strap.
