Vintage Seamasters don't come any better than this! Possibly 1% of Seamasters of this era were classified as chronometers. An even smaller percentage were 18k gold and at the very top, there were the few with hooded lugs! So, apart from the case what else is 18k gold? The answer is the dial, hands, hour batons and Omega logo!

Beautiful two-tone gold dial signed Omega, Automatic, Chronometre, Officially Certified and Swiss. Gold Dauphine hands, Sweep seconds hand. Applied Omega logo and hour batons. The gold case is in excellent condition as is the case-back. The inscription on the back is MSK but its stylised presentation somewhat disguises this when viewed from a number of angles. Omega signed non-original crown. The visible scratches are on the acrylic which has since been replaced.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Omega bumper calibre 352. To be designated a chronometer a watch must pass grueling tests for accuracy in five different positions of normal wear and under wide temperature variations from the Arctic cold to Tropic heat. These tests were conducted by the Swiss Government.

Comes with an almost new suede finish non-Omega strap.

This is a stunning top of the range Seamaster with huge wrist presence.
