A discussion with anyone who is knowledgable about Omega will reveal the importance of the 30T2. This together with its derivatives were to be the bedrock upon which Omegas were built for a 25 year period, successfully taking the brand towards the quartz era.
It has a "lived-in" silver dial that displays patina and age-related spots. Arabic hour and minute numerals. Silver leaf-shaped hands with a black sweep seconds hand. The acrylic is in good condition and the domed crown is probably the original.
The stainless 35mm steel case displays minor dents and scratches but little to suggest that this watch is nearly 75 years old. The inside of the case back is marked Omega. Overall it sits well with good wrist presance.
As you can see from the pictures the condition of the movement is excellent and it runs really well.
Comes with a used grey/brown lizard skin effect strap.
