This is an early Omega pocket watch that may date from 1901 and probably no later than 1910. The movement is unmarked which is normal for many of the early Omega pocket watches.
The dial is enamel and in excellent condition with no repairs or hairline cracks. The Roman numeral hour markers are in well-saturated black print. There is a railroad track outer for the minutes. It has wonderful Poire hands in blued steel and both are in excellent condition. Small seconds sunken sub-dial at 6.
The faded gunmetal case has no significant dents or scratches however the surface has aged over the past century. The case back snaps shut tightly and on the inside it is marked Omega together with a serial number that corresponds to that on the dust cover which is the next layer of protection. This too snaps shut tightly.
The Omega movement is in excellent condition. The quality of the case engineering has kept it protected over the years and the movement will serve the watch well for many years to come. Runs incredibly well and currently about 5 seconds fast per day.
A superb timepiece and an excellent example of early Omega heritage.
