The De Ville model was introduced in 1967 as Omega expanded its range to include more elegant designs. For sale here is a great example in 18k gold. Slimmer than other Omega models it might have been a special occasion watch rather than an everyday watch. Looking at its condition and lack of wear, this probably was the case. It's stamped 18k gold (750) on the side of the case and inside the case-back. A little smaller than the Seamaster at that time it is certainly not bling but classy.

It has a champagne coloured dial with contrasting black baton hands. Nothing unnecessary such as a seconds hand! Applied quarter batons and applied Omega logo. Signed Omega, De Ville and Swiss Made in black. Original Omega crown (this is a manually wound watch).

Inside is the beautifully engineered Omega calibre 620.

Comes with a used Hirsch black leather strap and its original Omega gold plate buckle.

Original Omega box.
