Here we have an exceptional half-century-old Omega that looks as though it's only been worn on very special occasions. It has an unmarked sun-burst gold coloured dial. Matching polished hour batons with central black strips. Each still has its original luminous dot still in place. Gold coloured baton hands with a central sweep seconds hand.
The case is stainless steel plated with 20 microns of gold. As you would expect there are absolutely no signs of rub-through. All the case angles remain sharp and well-defined. There are no scratches or dents. original Omega crown.
The case-back is stainless steel and is engraved Unitherm. On the inside it is fully marked Omega.
The movement is the in-house Omega 601 calibre and runs well.
The watch comes with a lightly used non-Omega black strap and its original Omega buckle.
