Introduced in December 1964 the "C" was the third generation Constellation Chronometer. This example was manufactured in 1966 and is in very good condition. Stainless steel case and case back both have only very small marks so it's a watch that's been cared for. The observatory medallion on the back is beautifully sharp.
The silver dial is in excellent condition. Quick-set date at 3. Pull the crown, rotate clockwise until the date changes at 12 then rewind to 9, advance again until 12 and the date will change. Repeat as necessary. The crystal is unmarked. Original Omega crown for adjusting the time and occasionally to wind the watch to supplement the automatic function.
Inside is the superb Omega calibre 561. This high precision chronometer movement runs beautifully as you would expect.
It comes with a rather shiny black leather non-Omega strap.
