A superb example of the legendary Constellation from Omega, built in 1966. Excellent all round condition with little to even hint that this is a 53-year-old watch.
The brushed finish silver dial is virtually unmarked as are the golden Dauphine hands. Matching sweep seconds hand. Faceted hour batons. Fully signed Automatic, Chronometer, Officially Certified, Constellation and Swiss Made. Applied Omega sign and script. The acrylic is not signed.
The stainless steel case has only very minor blemishes. The screw-fit case-back has the Observatory in the centre and has none of the usual scratches where someone has used an inappropriate tool to get the back off. Omega signed crown.
Inside is the Omega 561 chronometer movement. When manufactured, this was independently tested for accuracy in five positions and five temperatures.
Comes with an almost new black leather non-Omega strap.
