In its heyday of mechanical wristwatch production, the Constellation was the top of the Omega range. Every single watch had to pass stringent tests before it could wear the name chronometer on the dial.
For sale here we have the slightly larger model (36mm) that has the concealed crown. This superb timepiece is in exceptionally good condition which suggests that it's rarely been worn and has been well cared for.
The vertically brushed steel silver dial is unmarked. It has polished steel hour batons with black onyx inserts. Matching hands a d a sweep seconds hand. Quick-set date at 3. Fully marked Omega as you would expect. Original Omega acrylic with the logo etched in the centre. Original Omega crown.
The stainless steel case has only very minor marks, almost all invisible to the unaided eye. The stainless steel medallion in the centre of the case-back shows no wear.
Inside is the superbly engineered and accurate Omega 561 calibre movement.
Comes with a black genuine leather non Omega strap and Omega buckle.
