A classic 1953 Omega Seamaster sporting a wide bezel and the sought-after beefy lugs. This is a great example of the early "sporting" Seamaster that was introduced in 1948 as a watch "for the active man". This watch has been very well looked after with no significant dents or scratches. The stainless steel case looks great as does the screw-on case back that has not seen any opening abuse.
The dial has a beautiful bronze patina with numerous ageing speckles and spots. Gold coloured Dauphine hands. Small seconds sunken sub-dial at 6. Applied gold-coloured batons and Omega logo. Signed Omega, Seamaster, Automatic and Swiss Made in black. Original Seamaster crown.
Inside is the Omega manufactured calibre 344 "bumper" movement. Runs well and keeps good time.
Comes with a new black strap.
