For sale here is a 1952 classic version of the formidable Omega Seamaster. Beefy lugs, a significant bezel, just the watch for "The Active Man" as Omega used to advertise!
 
This example is in great condition for a watch over 70 years of age. It is gold-capped which, for Omega, means a very thick layer of gold and this means that there are only a few small signs of rub-through. There are no significant dinks or scratches. The case back is made of stainless steel and there are a few tool marks.
 
The sunburst dial is in excellent unmarked condition. The chamfered applied hour indexes are topped with a black strip. Matching gold Dauphine hands and a sweep seconds hand. The dial is signed Omega, Automatic, Seamaster and Swiss Made, all in black. Original Seamaster crown. Unmarked acrylic.
 
The watch is powered by the excellent  Omega calibre 354 bumper. Runs really well.
 
The watch comes with a brand new non-Omega padded black strap.
