An early Seamaster, this watch came into life in 1951 in a range that was introduced in 1948. Designed and marketed as the watch for the active man it displays the features that make it a classic today. A robust, round case with beefy lugs and wide bezel.
This watch is in good used condition and runs well. The case and case-back are stainless steel whilst the lugs are gold-capped. The bezel is solid gold. There are no significant dents or scratches to the case although two of the lugs show some rub through of the gold capping.
The dial has mellowed over the years with an even patina. There are gold coloured hour batons topped in black. Gold Dauphine hands with a central sweep seconds hand. Applied Omega logo and, printed in black, are Omega, Automatic, Seamaster and Swiss Made. Original Seamaster crown.
Inside is the Omega calibre 351 bumper movement.
The watch comes with a new brown leather non Omega strap.
